After getting to know strong and brave April (Italia Ricci) in the first two episodes of "Chasing Life," it is now Brenna's (Haley Ramm) turn to be on the spotlight in the ABC Family's drama series.

In "Life of Brenna," Cartermatt reports that viewers will understand what April's rebellious younger sister is going through in the show. Brenna, being the teenager that she is, tends to be jealous of "perfect" April. She feels trapped in the circumstances of her sister's cancer and the fact that she has to leave school because of her. Will she be able to get over her own frustrations and support her sister during these trying times? Or will her closeness with paternal half-sister Natalie (Jessica Meraz) drive a wedge between them?

Meanwhile, in an interview with KSite TV, Ramm let slip that there will be "a big sisterly fight" between Brenna and April in episode 3. Viewers will also see Dominic (Richard Brancatisano) trying to start over with his mother and April shopping for the perfect wedding dress for her big day.

Last episode, April had to choose which clinical trial she would use to treat her cancer. To help her in the life changing decision, she went on a trip with her best friend Beth (Aisha Dee) to Bermuda. Though she had a pending conference call, good old Beth decided to accompany April. She ended up missing her important call, sparking an argument between the two.

Meanwhile, Sara (Mary Page Keller) was feeling swamped with all the bills demanding to be paid. April's medical expenses and Brenna's tuition in the private school were taking a toll on the family's finances. Leaving her with no choice, Sara talked with Brenna about the possibility of her changing school. Brenna would hear nothing about it, though, as she had already settled in her new school and had found friends.

When April returned from the trip, she had decided that she would opt for a different clinical trial than the one her doctor recommends. As for whether this would work better for her or not, viewers need to tune in to the next episodes of "Chasing Life," which airs Monday at 9 p.m. EST on ABC Family.
