'Call of Duty: Black Ops 3' promo: Double XPs with Doritos and Mountain Dew

Players who are planning on getting "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" should also consider buying snack items from Doritos and Mountain Dew to get a double XP in the game as part of its promotion.

"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" will hit the markets on Nov. 6, Friday, as reported in GameSpot, and it appears that during that day, gamers will be celebrating.

Both Mountain Dew and Doritos announced their promo called "Fuel Up for Battle" promotion, which allows players to level up quickly in the new game.

Gamers should look out for specially marked packages of the chips and beverage that feature codes that will unlock the prize.

Other than the double XP for 30 minutes of Zombie Mode game time, players can also win other cool prizes, according to a report from iDigitalTimes; but no further details have been given yet.

The promotion will start on Oct. 5, when the specially marked items will be displayed in shelves. That same date, Mountain Dew will bring back two drink flavors, namely the Game Fuel Citrus Cherry and Game Fuel Berry Lime, according to a report from Hardcore Gamer.

As for Doritos, players should look for chips that have the flavors Dinamita Chile Limon, Cool Ranch, Nacho Cheese, Jalapeno Pepperjack, Spicy Nacho, and Ranch Dipped Hot Wings, which will also become available starting Oct. 5.

"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" will be available for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 (PS3), PlayStation 4 (PS4), and PC on the said release date.

Publisher Activision Publishing, Inc. also recently announced that a multiplayer beta version for the game for Xbox One and PC will start from Aug. 19 to 23, GameSpot reported.

The beta version is strictly for those who pre-ordered the game. Customers who pre-ordered can get the access code from the game's official site.
