The Boston Celtics aim to continue their winning ways as they return to the United States following two preseason games in Europe to take on the Brooklyn Nets this Wednesday at the Barclays Center.

The C's defeated Olimpia Milano 124–91 in their preseason opener then went on to beat Real Madrid 111–96 last Thursday to keep an immaculate 2–0 record.

Boston has shown great development in their past two preseason games with offseason trade acquisition David Lee fitting well into the system and budding point guards Avery Bradley and Marcus Smart showing tremendous improvement.

Along with the three, point guard Isaiah Thomas has also been playing well off the bench for the Celtics.

In their recent win over Real Madrid, Bradley led the charge for Boston, dropping 17 points and also having three rebounds, two assists, and two steals.

Following him were point guards Thomas and rookie Terry Rozier who scored 15 and 14 points, respectively.

Lee had a double-double performance scoring 13 points while grabbing 11 rebounds, with four assists, and one steal.

Meanwhile, the Nets are searching for their second win of the preseason since they only won once in three games played.

The Nets lost to Turkish team Fenerbahçe Ulker 101–96 in their opener, after which they won 93–83 over the Detroit Pistons and again were defeated 97–95 in their last preseason outing against the Philadelphia 76ers.

In their most recent setback to Philadelphia, veteran point guard Jarrett Jack paced the Nets with 20 points and was helped by Joe Johnson and Brook Lopez who added 13 points each.

Brooklyn is still playing without offseason acquisition center Andrea Bargnani, who has been dealing with a hamstring injury.

But CBS Sports reported that Bargnani already practiced fully with the Nets last Tuesday and will likely make his debut when they play against Boston.

The game between the Celtics and the Nets will take place today, Oct. 14, at 7:30 p.m. EST. To watch via live stream, click here.
