'Bleach' Chapter 642 plot rumors: Will Nemu die?

Chapter 641 of "Bleach" continued to showcase the incredible struggle between Mayuri and Pernida as they battle back and forth.

In this chapter, Mayuri found himself being overwhelmed by the continuing growth of Pernida's power, and it led to him being put in a very dangerous position. With Mayuri in danger, it was none other than Nemu who stepped in to help him regroup, but the struggle for the duo is far from finished.

The battle still appears as though it is far from over, but there is now growing speculation that the fight could be nearing its climax.

In the next chapter, fans believe that there may be a significant event that will take place in the form of Nemu possibly dying at the hands of Pernida, according to Yibada.

The previous chapters of "Bleach" have hinted at the possible relationship that exists between Mayuri and Nemu, but to this point, the storytellers have avoided simply coming out and announcing it for all to know.

If Nemu's demise is indeed near, then the big revelation concerning her true identity might finally be made just before she dies.

One thing that has seemingly been established in recent chapters is that the relationship between Mayuri and Nemu appears to be something more than just a master and his slave. There appears to be a genuine bond between the two that goes beyond anything that has been revealed to this point.

Mayuri has even indicated he and Nemu have been together for a significant amount of time already, Kaleo reported.

With many fans predicting the possible death of Nemu in chapter 642 or perhaps even the chapter after that, what remains unclear is what might happen to Mayuri in the case of such a tragic event.

There may be a chance that he too ultimately falls victim to the powers of Pernida, or perhaps the death of Nemu pushes his abilities to levels he could not reach before.
