The premiere episode of "The Blacklist" season 3 is about to air, which means that viewers will finally find out how long Liz (Megan Boone) can stand being a fugitive with her partner Red (James Spader).

CarterMatt earlier revealed the episode synopsis for the season premiere of "The Blacklist" season 3 titled "The Troll Farmer," which reads:

The season premiere kicks off with the FBI hunting Liz for the murder of the Attorney General. Red and Liz are named to the FBI's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list and set out on the run to evade capture. Red calls upon a Blacklister called 'The Troll Farmer,' to help them flee the city, while the task force must question whom of their own can still be trusted."

Meanwhile, series creator Jon Bokenkamp told TV Line that the upcoming season will feature an unexplainable dynamic between Liz and Red. According to the series creator, the characters' "resources are so incredible, and they complement each other in a really nice way."

Series executive producer John Eisendrath shared that the manhunt that FBI will launch to capture their former agent and informant will be a little bit more serialized compared to the cases that the show tackled in the past.

However, fans of the show who are looking forward to learn more about the truth regarding the relationship between Liz and Red will be a little disappointed this season because it will not be the main focus.

Eisendrath revealed that the first episodes of the season will center on the current situation between Liz and Red, and how they will manage to dodge the authorities. But the executive producer promised that bits of information about the partners' past and how they are connected to each other will be unveiled.

"The Blacklist" season 3 is slated to premiere on Thursday, Oct. 1, on NBC.
