Now that "Black Mirror" season 3 is available for streaming on Netflix, what's next for the show? Well, it's safe to say that there will probably be another season of the show since Netflix ordered 12 episodes of "Black Mirror." There were only six episodes in season 3. Executive producer Annabel Jones also confirmed that there's "another season coming up" last month when she spoke at the London Film Festival.

A number of reports say the six episodes that were not part of season 3 may already be complete by now. Does this mean season 4 is going to air sooner than expected? Sources say the show may premiere in July 2017. Series creator Charlie Brooker allegedly worked on the script for the upcoming season in advance so that season 4 can air by summer. The upcoming season is rumored to have more than six episodes.

It should be noted that Netflix has yet to announce the premiere date for "Black Mirror" season 4. Until the network makes a confirmation, all reports concerning the release date of the series are rumors at best, so readers are advised to take everything with a grain of salt.

Meanwhile, Jodie Foster is going to be directing an episode of "Black Mirror" next season, and Rosemarie DeWitt will star in it. That's something to look forward to.

In other news, Brooker spoke with The Huffington Post and he finally confirmed that the series does not take place in the same universe in spite of the Easter eggs that are found in the episodes.

"There's no real link between [the episodes]. Having said that, sometimes, just to f*** with people, we have got an explicit link between them. The Easter eggs is a thing I enjoy, we have fun doing them," he said.

Well, there go all the fan theories. Better luck next time.
