'Logos Bible Bus' Proclaims the Gospel Through its Bible Software

The Logos Bible Study Bus Tour made a scheduled stop at Crossroads Church, Louisiana last week, as it continues it's journey across America.

|PIC1|The tour, a joint effort between American Family Radio and Logos Bible Software, gives out a free seminar on the use of Logos Bible Software and its abilities to technologicaly enhance Bible study.

According to its Web site (www.biblestudybus.com), the tour was organised after a recent study by the Barna Group that discovered only 4 percent of Americans say a biblical world view is the basis for their decision making.

Other stops on the route include Chicago and Memphis, ending with a final stop in Bellingham, Washington on August 15th.

Those wanting to go a little deeper into their study now have a resource previously only available to scholars. The American Bible Society digitized its Bible Resource Center and made it available through the Internet.

The resource, available through www.bibles.com, includes a searchable database backed by Google that links users to study guides, interactive maps of biblical locations and a manual how-to on which Bible translation is appropriate.

The American Bible Society, founded in 1816, focuses on the translation, publication and distribution of Bibles. Its mission is to make the Bible available to every person in every language and format.
