The wait for Jimmy McGill's return will soon be over.

AMC has finally revealed the highly anticipated second season premiere of the breakout drama "Better Call Saul" early this week, announcing that the hit spin-off drama of "Breaking Bad" will start its second season on Feb. 15, 2016.

"Jimmy McGill's journey takes surprising, left-handed turns in Season 2 He goes to places we'd never, ever expected," series showrunner Peter Gould revealed in a statement to announce the second season premiere. "As for Mike Ehrmantraut, he's pulled deeper into a world he was sure he'd left forever. We can't wait to share the next chapter of 'Better Call Saul' with the fans who have embraced the show."

The show, which features the events that happened in Jimmy McGill's (Bob Odenkirk) struggle in his law profession before he became the scheming lawyer Saul Goodman in "Breaking Bad," became the most successful new series for adults 18 to 49, adults 25 to 54 and total viewers on cable TV in 2015.

"Better Call Saul" also became a record holder for the biggest series debut in the history of cable TV in the adults 18 to 49 demographic as well as the top new series of the 2015 season, with its total viewers reaching a total of 5.9 million.

Aside from the huge viewer turnout, "Better Call Saul" also earned praises from the critics. It managed to earn seven Primetime Emmy Award nominations and won a couple of major Critics' Choice TV Awards, including the Best Actor award in a Drama Series for Odenkirk and Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for Jonathan Banks, who also reprised his "Breaking Bad" role as Mike Ehrmantraut. The series also received the outstanding new program recognition from TCA.
