'Best-Ever' CRE Wraps Up, Heads West

The South-West Christian Resources Exhibition recently wrapped up in Exeter, January 25 - 27, and will now move west.

According to Bryan Williams of Kenneth Copeland Ministries, it was "the best-ever CRE".

The 50 lectures featured at the event were 'more crowded than ever' with organisers bringing in more chairs for popular topics.

Among the speakers were Commissioner Betty Matear, head of The Salvation Army's Women's Ministries and Moderator-elect of the Free Church General Council and the Bishops of Exeter, Crediton and Bristol.

"Countless expressions of pleasure and gratitude were volunteered by dozens of exhibitors at the end of our three days at Westpoint," said CRE founder Gospatric Home. "There was a great atmosphere of friendship and enjoyment in which 3,504 people gathered to discover the very best in new resources."

The exhibition returns to Exeter in 2009 with plans being discussed for its expansion in partnership with local churches.

The next CRE is the national event at Sandown Park, Esher, May 15 - 18, which will be opened by Dr Rowan Williams, Archbishop of Canterbury.
