Vincent (Jay Ryan) and Cat (Kristin Kreuk) are determined to track down Liam (Jason Gedrick) in the upcoming episode of CW's hit series "Beauty and the Beast" season 3.

In "Patient X," Venture Capital Post reports that the couple is on a mission to hunt down Julianna's (Gloria Votsis) killer. Vince is able to convince his fiancé to snap out of her depression and focus on capturing the culprit. Patient X will purportedly give them useful information on where they can find Liam's lair.

Meanwhile, JT (Austin Basis) and Tess (Nina Lisandrello) will try to work together amid their relationship problems. The latter will conduct a test to confirm that JT is serum-free. As for Liam, whom the International Business Times claims to be "one of the most dangerous and unpredictable villain on TV so far," viewers can expect that he is hatching another attack. Someone as diabolical as him always wants to see chaos and destruction around him, and it will not be long before he makes his presence known again.

Last episode, Vince and Cat's supposed wedding ended in tragedy. Liam killed Julianna while Cat was walking down the aisle. He even demonstrated his awesome power when he beat Vince senseless. Thoroughly defeated, Cat told her future husband she did not want to continue on their quest. Someone's life ended because of them, and it even happened during what should have been the happiest day of their life as a couple. She said that if they ever wanted to get married, they had to get out of the superhuman business fast.

Always the negative thinker, it was Vince's turn to convince her to not let Liam destroy what they have worked so hard for. Their other friends lent their support, telling Cat all was not lost. JT and Tess even disregarded their earlier arguments just to assure her everyone was rooting for them. Cat, however, appeared to have closed them out, determined to wallow in self pity.

"Beauty and the Beast" airs Thursday at 8 p.m. EST on CW.
