Adrian (Josh Segarra) continues to make Oliver's (Stephen Amell) life a living hell in the upcoming episode of "Arrow" season 5.

Titled "Honor Thy Fathers," next week's episode will see how far Oliver is willing to go to keep the city safe. According to the official synopsis, Oliver comes back to the mayor's office to deal with one of his biggest problems yet: the forced release of the criminals persecuted by Adrian. Later, Oliver receives a crate in his office. He is shocked when he discovers that it contains a mysterious corpse encased in solid concrete.

Since Adrian has now been revealed as murderous psychopath, all of the cases he has ever worked on as District Attorney have been considered invalid. This means that some of Star City's most feared criminals are back on the streets, and it is only a matter of time before they wreak havoc and exact revenge on Team Arrow. To make matters worse, Oliver has to find out who brought him the unsettling package and determine the meaning behind it.

If one thing is for sure, Adrian will continue to stay 10 steps ahead of his enemies. Oliver previously thought he had figured Prometheus (voiced by Michael Dorn) out, only for the latter to come up with a preemptive attack that he had been planning for a long time. Moving forward, the show is expected to explore how Adrian will make decisions as a prosecutor.

Cartermatt notes that Adrian might switch from being an adversary to a hero for the criminals he put in jail. It is likely that he will use them to build his own army of evil, giving him an edge over the Green Arrow. He can also use the criminals to distract the public, so that he has more time to plan his next move.

The fifth season of "Arrow" airs every Wednesday at 8 p.m. EDT on The CW.
