'Arrow' season 3 updates: Canary II push and more episodes to look forward to

After seeing Laurel (Katie Cassidy) rise to the occasion in the absence of an injured Arrow, it seems that her performance in episode 11 is an indication that Canary II will be given a more major role from hereon.

After failing on her first try, Laurel was able to bounce back after leading a rescue. And apparently this is not the last we will see her in main action as the she tries to avenge and continue her sister's journey. And apparently this will be something to watch out for when the Canary comes face-to-face with the new Count Vertigo later on this season.

Amanda Waller appearing in real time

Amande Waller was always seen in Queen's flashbacks but come episode 17, Waller is expected to actually appear in present day. Titled "Suicidal Thoughts", Amanda will be spearheading Task Force X where Waller will be appearing with Deadshot (Michael Rowe) and Cupid (Amy Gumenick).

In that episode, a new but corrupt Senator Clay will try to put Task Force X for his own gains. For now, episode details remain to be withheld.

Arrow/Flash Crossover

The episode to watch is episode 18. Apparently the Flash will be back in the picture in the episode title "All-Star Team up".

Felicity and Ray Palmer will pay Barry Allen a visit to seek help to get Palmer's A.T.O.M. suit up and working.

"It happens to come at a particularly bad moment for Barry, but that's partially why we did it. The first episode with Felicity in episode four, she really came along in a time when her experience in being a part of a crime-fighting team definitely helped Barry overcome what he was facing that week," said executive producer Andrew Kreisberg to reporters last week. "When she comes [back], he's having a crisis of conscience that in some ways only someone like she can help him through."
