The digital board game known as "Armello" will be officially launched on Sept. 1.

The game will be available for PlayStation 4 and personal computers (PC) starting on that date.

Some people may be wondering why they seem to have already heard of this game or have seen others on Steam already playing it. That is because "Armello" had its Steam Early Access launch back in late January, according to Eurogamer.

The first version of "Armello" will soon be taken down, however, so that players who want to try out the early access version before paying for the full game may still do so for $24.99. Prospective buyers will have to hurry, as the early access version will be taken down after July 31.

The early access version of "Armello" has four characters in Amber, Mercurio, Sana, and Thane. People planning to purchase the full game will be glad to know that the number of characters in the game will double once it is released.

In addition to the four original characters, two additional names have been announced, according to Polygon.

First off is Zosha, a member of the Rat Clan who utilizes the elements of stealth combat to overcome her enemies and succeed on the battlefield. However, players will have to pick their spots with her as she comes with a low body statistic, but a surprisingly high fight stat.

The second character is Barnaby, a member of the Rabbit Clan. Barnaby utilizes an assortment of items in an attempt to gain the upper hand on the battlefield. He possesses a high body stat that makes him highly durable, although his fight stat is not as strong.

Two more new names will join Barnaby, Zosha, and the four original characters in the ranks of "Armello," although a date for when they might be revealed has yet to be given.
