Anna Faris, Michael Barrett news, update: Rumored couple spotted in Venice

"Unqualified" author Anna Faris and rumored boyfriend Michael Barrett have kept silent on their relationship status, but they have been spotted once more in Europe.

The rumored couple was spotted on their recent escapade, this time abroad. E! News got a hold of photos showing the two in Venice, and a source claimed that the two were cozying it up with each other given the chilly weather in the city of Italy.

"Michael had his hand on Anna's back and she rested her head on his shoulder. They were checking out all of the architecture along the Grand Canal and pointing out different things. They giggled together and made a few jokes as they enjoyed the ride and took in all of the scenery," the insider narrated.

Prior to this, the last sighting of the two was when the actress was reportedly introducing her rumored boyfriend to close friends. The photos which surfaced showed Faris and Barrett saying their goodbyes and hugging with reportedly close friends of the actress.

Faris and Barrett were first spotted in a carnival in Malibu in September, wearing baseball caps, probably to keep everything low key. After this, they were spotted together on two consecutive nights, dining at the posh Modo Mio restaurant in Los Angeles. In late October, Barrett and Faris were again seen grabbing lunch in Seattle, and they seemed to be looking comfortable and confident with each other.

Despite the numerous sightings, however, Barrett and Faris have kept mum. Even Faris' ex, "Guardians of the Galaxy" star Chris Pratt, to whom she shares 5-year-old son Jack, has been quiet on the issue.

Faris and cinematographer Barrett met on the set of the romantic comedy film "Overboard," set for release in 2018, where the former will play the lead opposite Eugenio Debez' character.
