'America's Next Top Model' season 22 spoilers: Contestants freak out in death-defying catwalk challenge

The models will get the fright of their lives in the upcoming episode of the CW's long-running reality show "America's Next Top Model" season 22.

In "The Guy Who Gets Shipped Out," TV Guide reports that Tyra Banks has prepared a difficult challenge, which involved a hanging shipping container and some fierce "catwalking." Contestants will apparently do a runway challenge in a see-through cargo box suspended way up in the sky by a crane. No wonder most of them will freak out, especially those who have fear of heights.

In the next challenge, the models will be coached by the former supermodel in a photo shoot, but there is a twist. They will be bound together, so getting the best pose will prove to be difficult. Tempers will surely arise, as the contestants try to outperform the others. Those who will let themselves be bested of the flattering positions will surely fail to earn a coveted spot for the season.

Last episode, the contestants got a surprise visit from Jonathan and Drew Scott from "Property Brothers." They were the ones who designed the mansion they will live in during the competition. Catty attitudes immediately surfaced after the two announced that there were only 14 beds available for the 22 models.

The first task was a head-to-head competition. Models were called out in sets of two and try to defeat the other while doing poses on the fly. Mame breezed through the job and she got first dibs on staying in the Tyra Suite.

Kelly Cutrone then showed up to explain the photo shoot challenge. Models were to choose their fiercest body part, which they would cover with black placards announcing their Twitter hashtags. Other than that, they would only get to wear thongs.

Some excelled in the challenge, while others did not. The 23-year-old Alexa was the first to bow out of the competition after deciding that she was not cut out for the job. Her roommates were also asking too much of her and she was not used to all the drama.

After the deliberation, judges announced that no one would be eliminated for the week, perhaps because someone already went home.

"America's Next Top Model" season 22 episode 3 airs Wednesday at 8 p.m. on the CW.
