
Audi has made the U.S. pricing for the upcoming 2016 TT known to car enthusiasts.
Audi TT will be available as a roadster or coupe and it will feature LED headlights and taillights.
The couple model will cost around $42,900 while the Roadster version pricing will start at $47,325, according to Kelley Blue Book.
The sportier version of coupe, the TTS, will have a starting price of $51,900, according to World Car Fans.
The 2016 Audi TT, together with the TTS model, was unveiled in 2014 at the Geneva Motor Show, after a release of teasers the year prior.
The new 2016 TT and TTS versions are based on the VW MQB platform, keeping its distinct design but with minor improvements.
According to reports, the 2016 TT will arrive in the U.S. by later this month, but a specific date is yet to be announced.
The TT will run on a 2-liter, 4-cylinder turbocharged engine, generating a 220 horsepower with a torque measure of 258 lb-ft.
The superior TTS models will carry the same engine but with a more powerful output of 292 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque.
Both models will have a six-speed automatic dual-clutch and feature Audi's Quattro system or all-wheel drive.
The 2016 Audi TT will also have great safety features, which include a collision brake assist for added braking power.
A lane-keeping feature is also part of the new design; the driver will feel a gentle vibration from the steering wheel when he drives out his lane.
The system will even direct the car to the right lane when situation calls for it.
These safety features put this Audi model ahead of its class.
The car will also have more than just touch control system; an advanced speech-recognition software will help the driver get some answers to simple questions such as the location of the nearest gas station.
Since the target release date is fast approaching, many are excited about reactions from Audi fanatics. Will they appreciate the new 2016 Audi TT model or will it be a big disappointment?
