Could we be seeing Stardust (Cody Rhodes) and The Green Arrow (Stephen Amell) facing each other again in a World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) pay-per-view (PPV)?
Both celebrities were recently at the Dallas Comic Con where Stardust was to present Amell a Slammy for Best Celebrity Moment. Even though the event seemed to be civil, Stardust curiously threw a cup of water in Amell's face, bringing up rumors of another potential feud between the two.
Amell and Stardust did face off before, although it was a tag match that included Neville and King Barrett. That celebrity match happened at SummerSlam last, year with the Red and Green Arrow duo winning over Stardust and Barrett.
The Green Arrow star did make a good account of himself, highlighted by a leap off the top rope and onto Stardust and Barrett. Could fans be seeing a revenge celebrity match at WrestleMania 32 this April?
Right now, the official cards for WrestleMania 32 have yet to be revealed, other than the expected Triple H vs. Roman Reigns main event. This is with the assumption that the WWE will maintain its direction of trying to boost Reigns.
If so, it could be an interesting match, although a sequel's fan reception poses some questions. Had it not been done in 2015, perhaps the hype for it would have been spectacular and to the delight of the fans.
A good indication of whether or not WWE fans will be seeing a part two are the updates on the Twitter accounts of Amell and Stardust. It was the same approach that happened before SummerSlam, so why not again?
Other than monitoring social media, a possible fight could take shape after WWE Fastlane. Once that WWE PPV is settled, the cards for the biggest WWE spectacle are likely to come out one after the other.
