'The Vampire Diaries' season 6 spoilers: Elena and Damon contemplate on starting a family in episode 18, 19

Elena dreams of starting a family of her own soon, and in the next episode of "The Vampire Diaries" titled "I Could Never Love Like That," the vampire realizes how great her life would be knowing that Jo and Alaric are on their way to that same destiny.

This dilemma of hers spans to the next episode titled "Because." As she comes to terms that family life will never be her thing, the prospect of normality suddenly becomes attainable, at least for Damon.

In the installment, the Salvatore vampire visualizes how everything would be like without the vampire blood running through their veins. With his dreams resembling that of his lady love, he is torn between telling Elena about the cure that will give them normal life and keeping it a secret.

Unfortunately, Damon has another problem to deal with and that is Bonnie, who is enraged to know that she was betrayed by him. In an attempt to make her wrath felt, she launches a "chain of events" that makes the fallout inescapable.

However, there are reports that things will come full circle for them. By that, rumor mills mean that Bonnie and Damon may actually get intimate as the latter consoles the former, who is frustrated for always being the one taking all the pain in the end.

Meanwhile, Caroline shows no more humanity and becomes unstoppable. The attempts to stop her in episode 20 will be foiled. How that happens remains to be seen.

"The Vampire Diaries" will also deal with a painful past, that of Enzo's. In "Because," Enzo's haunting past leaves him no choice but to search for a resolution. However, in the process, he learns how he first became a vampire and this takes him aback.

There are also reports that season 6 will end with another casualty after "The Vampire Diaries" executive producer Julie Plec tweeted about something viewers will not see coming.

What has led fans to speculate another death is the next tweet she sent out, saying she has "been intermittently weeping all weekend. Perhaps unrelated, perhaps not.... #TVD."

"The Vampire Diaries" season 6 episode 18, "I Could Never Love Like That," will be aired on April 16. Episode 19, "Because," will air on April 23.
