Electronic Arts will make "The Sims 4" more pet-friendly with the life simulation video game's upcoming expansion titled "Cats & Dogs."

EA officially announced the newest expansion back in August with a teaser and fans immediately got hyped up with finally being able to have a pet in the game. Now, a recently dropped trailer for "The Sims 4: Cats & Dogs" shows players how they will be able to create their own furry friend.

In order for the players to create their familiar, they must first choose whether they want their pet to be a dog or a cat. Once that easy decision has been made, the possibilities are endless.

Players will have to settle on what kind of breed, size, color, hairstyle and even personality traits they want for their possible pets. Aside from these choices, EA also added another feature where the players will able to dress their pets with specific sartorial choices.

Much like creating virtual people on "The Sims 4," the process for creating animal companions will be the same. Pets can be active and always want to play fetch outside, be smart and master tricks in a short amount of time, or naughty and always get into trouble.

With the "Cats & Dogs" expansion, it is just logical that "The Sims 4" will also be unlocking a new job for its players: veterinarians. This will allow players to open their veterinary clinics and help treat different animal health concerns

Simulating real life, running a clinic in "The Sims 4" will not be a walk in the park. A lot of challenges are at stake to make it successful and in achieving this, players will be able to unlock hidden features for the veterinary clinic and skills.

"The Sims 4: Cats & Dogs" expansion retails for $39.99 and will drop into stores on Nov. 10 for Microsoft Windows PC and Mac.
