The Mikaelson brothers will make sure they will avenge Cami's (Leah Pipes) death in the upcoming episode of the hit The CW series "The Originals."

In the promo released for episode 10, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) is telling Elijah (Daniel Gillies) that their enemies must be punished for the attacks designed to kill the people they love. He says they must retaliate swiftly and in such a brutal manner the other side will have no time to process what happened to them. The scene cuts to Elijah going on a killing spree, staking several vampires in such a manner they died without knowing what hit them.

Klaus is especially targeting Aurora (Rebecca Breeds), the crazy progeny who is crazy about him. She killed Cami just when the latter was finally opening up to the hybrid. In the midseason finale, Klaus and Cami kissed. After a long time of denying the tension between them, Klaus told his Cami that he did not wish to watch from behind a glass and confessed that he loved her.

Unfortunately, the happy moment ended soon, when Klaus woke up and found a dead Cami by his side. Aurora slashed her throat and left her bleeding to death. The clip shows the hybrid looking murderous as he cradles Cami's lifeless body in his arms. He vents his anger at Elijah, saying that they must not let such transgression come to pass.

Meanwhile, the finale also showed Rebekah (Claire Holt) asking Elijah to stake her so that she would not be able to hurt the people she loves. The Original had been driven mad by the mark on her wrist. Viewers saw, though, that Elijah did not use a cursed dagger, which means Rebekah is just sleeping and not dead. Executive producer Michael Narducci told Entertainment Weekly that she would be back soon, but not until the whole shebang about the prophecy was over.

"Rebekah's going for a little nap. She will be tucked away and hidden away, but she's not in pain and she's safe and we're going to find a way to cure her and pull that dagger out of her at some point in the future," he shared.

"The Originals" season 3 will return on Friday, Jan. 29, 2016 at 9 p.m. EST on The CW.
