Weddings and funerals do not normally mix, but the two events seem to be happening simultaneously in the next episode of "The Blacklist" season 3.

Based on the promo images and trailer released by NBC for the episode titled "Mr. Solomon," Liz (Megan Boone) will be busy preparing to walk down the aisle to marry Tom (Ryan Eggold) for the second time despite Red's (James Spader) disproval.

According to Red, Liz should not marry Tom because he is a bad person. But Liz believes that Tom has already changed, and she will push through with the wedding since she and Tom will soon have their first child together.

But it seems like the event will not be entirely happy, as Tom is also seen in a photo digging a grave. Who will be buried in it?

The episode will air on Thursday, April 7, after the show's month-long hiatus.

Meanwhile, TVLine revealed that the series is casting the role of Alexander Kirk, another one of Red's numerous enemies.

According to the report, the character will play a big role in the final episodes of "The Blacklist" season 3 as well as in season 4.

The character description for Alexander Kirk reads:

"Charming and charismatic, he is a multi-national businessman whose strong personal ethics and whip-sharp intelligence have made him a major player on the world stage. He is now using his power and resources to strike back against his longtime nemesis, Raymond Reddington."

It was also reported that Red and Kirk have a longstanding feud fueled by betrayal and lies. The new nemesis is also linked to one of Red's most shocking and deeply hidden secrets. Does Kirk have something to do with Liz as well?

More details about Kirk are expected to arrive in the coming days.
