Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) and Lydia (Holland Roden) shippers will have a field day on the premiere episode of "Teen Wolf" season 6, according to showrunner Jeff Davis.

Immediately after the end of season 5, Davis told TVLine that the estranged relationship between the two will play an important role in the upcoming season, and it will be seen as soon as the season premieres in June.

"They're not only lingering feelings — they become a focus, a focal point of the next season. Something big happens in the very first episode of Season 6 between Stiles and Lydia, which you'll have to tune in to see," Davis said.

Meanwhile, the showrunner said that Parrish (Ryan Kelley) will have to deal with the repercussions of his transformation as a hellhound in season 5 and the outcome of his battle with the Beast as he returns to his duties as the deputy of Beacon Hills.

"He'll have to come to terms with what it means to be both supernatural and human," Davis revealed. "He's definitely got some learning to do. His job wasn't necessarily to kill the Beast, but to slow the Beast down enough. Was he the hero he was supposed to be in this last episode? He'll be dealing with that in Season 6."

On the other hand, several speculations claimed that the main villain of season 1 Peter Hale (Ian Bohen) will return in the second episode of "Teen Wolf" season 6. This could mean that his nephew Derek Hale (Tyler Hoechlin) could also resurface after leaving the show in season 4. This speculation could be possible, since Davis revealed in an interview before season 5 that Hoechlin could still return to the show whenever he wants.

MTV has yet to announce the official premiere date of "Teen Wolf" season 6, but the network is expected to make the announcement in the coming days.
