Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman) will need the help of a new assistant when "Suits" returns for season 6.

TV Guide revealed that "Popular" alum Carly Pope was tapped to portray the role of commercial architect Tara Messer. She will be hired by Louis to help him deal with Wall Street trader named Stu Buzzini (Ian Reed Kessler). But will she just be another person who can be easily manipulated by Louis, or will he eventually fall in love with her?

Pope will join other "Suits" newcomers like "ER" star Erik Palladino and Paul Schulze from "Nurse Jackie" as Mike's (Patrick J. Adams) fellow inmates as well as Malcolm-Jamal Warner as the prison counselor.

Meanwhile, a sneak peek of Mike's new life in prison had been released. In the trailer, a prison guard was seen shaving Mike's head as he starts his new life behind bars. But while his head is being shaven, Mike can hear the voices of his friends at the law firm who advised him not to give a guilty plea. By the end of the trailer, Mike was seen passing by a group of inmates while he was walking towards his prison cell.

The official season 6 synopsis reads:

"After signing a plea deal to spare his colleagues at Pearson Specter Litt, Mike will be confronted with the harsh realities of prison life as he starts his two-year sentence. Meanwhile, the once-bustling Pearson Specter Litt offices are a ghost town — the partners have defected, leaving Harvey, Jessica, Louis, Donna and Rachel to pick up the pieces. But the firm's troubles are far from over, and they will have to deal with the fallout from Mike's crime before they can even begin to rebuild."

USA Network will air the premiere episode of "Suits" season 6 on July 13 at 9 p.m. Central.
