Verizon will be releasing four new handsets soon. The four new handsets are the Sony Xperia Z4, the iPad Mini 4 and yet to be announced devices such as the LG G Pad X and the HTC Desire 526 which was supposedly something made only available in India.
All these were revealed through a tweet by Evan Blass (@evleaks), one of the more credible tipsters in social media.
The Sony Xperia Z4 is not really new news to most, seeing that the said device was already released in the market last month. What makes it interesting is its sudden availability in the U.S. Apparently this is in conflict with earlier reports that the Xperia Z4 would not be launching in the international scene though such was not really completely ruled out.
For those who are unaware, the Xperia Z4 comes with features that include a 5.2-inch full HD display screen and something that would run on a 64-bit Snapdragon 810 processor. It also carries a 20.7MP Exmor RS camera (reportedly capable of recording 4K videos) and a 5.1 front-facing camera. It also comes with 32GB internal storage that is expandable via the microSD card slot.
The iPad Mini 4 is another exciting device to look forward to though Apple has yet to formally introduce it to the market. The 7.9-inch Apple tablet won't be revealed at least until October and would hopefully be better than the disappointing iPad Mini 3.
An unknown device is the LG G Pad X 8.3 though it could very well be the successor to the LG G Pad 8.3 Rumors suggest that this tablet will come with an 8.3 display and run on a Snapdragon 600 chipset.
The HTC Desire 526 is a mid-range smartphone that was initially said to be made only available in India. Apparently all that may become moot and academic if this tweet holds true.
The HTC Desire 526 boasts of a 4.7-inch display and comes powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor. It will have 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded using the microSD card slot and will have an 8MP main camera and 2MP camera up front.
Though this tweet is good news, it remains to be seen when they will actually be made available on Verizon stores, especially since some of them (iPad Mini 4, LG G Pad X 8.3) haven't been actually revealed yet.
The Sony Xperia Z4 and HTC Desire 526 could be out ahead but still, no official word on when that would happen.
