While it is speculated that Sony Mobile will be coming out with an Xperia C6 this year, the company has yet to confirm its details. But images of an alleged Xperia C6 have floated online.

According to Android and Me, while Sony Mobile did not announce any smartphones at the recently concluded Consumer Electronics Show, this does not mean that the tech manufacturer won't be outing one early this year.

In fact, if the recent supposed leaks are proven true, then the next big event, the Mobile World Congress next month, will have fans see a new Sony Mobile flagship iteration – the Xperia C6.

The industry follower also mentioned that if the alleged leaks of the new device show off how the Xperia C6 would really look, then Sony Mobile seems to have integrated a nearly bezel-less display for the new iteration. In addition, the display itself is wrapped with 2.5D Gorilla Glass. As for the unit itself, the supposed Xperia C6 seems to be wrapped with an all-metal unibody design and has a 5.5-inch screen.

Meanwhile, Phone Arena said that having a nearly bezel-less display would be a plausible feature for the Xperia C6, given that its predecessor, the Xperia C5 Ultra, had extremely thin bezels. The industry observer also said the report of a 5.5-inch display seems accurate since Sony Mobile stated previously that there would be "limited numbers of Ultra sizes for this year."

Other rumored specs of the Xperia C6 include 1080p resolution, a MediaTek Helio P10 chipset, at least 3 GB of RAM, and above-average camera assembly both on the back and front, seeing as the Xperia C-series lineups are being marketed as selfie phones.
