In the next episode of "Shameless," Frank Gallagher (William H. Macy) brings illegal immigrants from the US over the border into Canada.

The trailers and promotional photos for the upcoming installment, titled "Frank's Northern Southern Express," were just released recently, and they show Frank addressing the illegal aliens outside his house before their Canadian journey.

"If I can have your attention, until America can distinguish between good brown people and bad brown people, it is my goal to get you into Canada," he says to the diverse group of people. The crowd, composed of people with different racial backgrounds, appears to be more confident, and all decide to put their trust in Frank. Apparently, they have overstayed their visa and will be deported very soon. Their only last resort is to go to Canada with Frank's help.

Later, Frank and the group appear to be at the US-Canadian border where they decide to go on foot. One of the Muslim women gets tired, which prompts Frank to offer to carry her. She gets on his back as he carries her up the mountain to cross the border.

Meanwhile, Frank's daughter Fiona (Emmy Rossum) is tired of her siblings' shenanigans at home. She decides to leave the place and live on her own at the apartment building where she is the caretaker.

In the last episode, Fiona's brother Ian (Cameron Monaghan) camped outside her building to protest her acquisition of a nearby church. Ian wanted to get it so that he could house the homeless youth. However, Fiona got the building first and forced her brother out of the negotiations. Ian rallied outside Fiona's apartment and even threw eggs at the window. In the end, the protest dissipated into nothing.

"Shameless" season 8 episode 8 will hit the airwaves on Sunday, Dec. 31, at 9 p.m. EDT on the Showtime network.
