Netflix's science fiction drama "Sense8" has been officially renewed for a second season. After the long wait, fans of the Wachowskis series can now be at peace to learn that the clusters will be returning for more episodes.

Creator J. Michael Straczynski recently granted an exclusive interview with AssignmentX to discuss the future of the show. While he did not offer much background on the possible storylines, he did let slip some tidbits about the sensates that viewers will meet in the upcoming season.

He said that other clusters will be introduced in the new installment, but viewers should not expect them all to be good. According to Straczynski, not all sensates use their ability to help others. Some may even capitalize on those special gifts to hurt or cause pain.

"So not all Sense8s will be naturally good people. Some people with that ability might not be the best people. So there's a whole range of them," said the series creator.

Meanwhile, News Everyday offered some possible plotlines for season 2. One of its predictions is that the cluster would grow even stronger. As the sensates dwell and get used to their powers more, they could use their skills to tap into each other's memories, just like what Will Gorski (Brian Smith) did to Riley (Tuppence Middleton) in the season finale.

Speaking of the Chicago cop, his accidental eye contact with the Whispers could be a source for concern with the rest of the members. Now that the hunters had forged an emotional connection with Gorski, it would be easier to track them down. The sensates would have to be extra careful now that the Whispers had the upper hand.

As for the other clusters, the website thought that finding other groups could help the eight main characters on how to adapt to their new powers. But as Straczynski mentioned, not all of the groups could be considered allies. The group might find, to their dismay, that the very people they believed could help them would be the ones who send them into harm's way.

Lastly, season 2 may also dwell more on the love story between the two sensate couples. From the way they showed their concern for each other, Gorski and Riley appear to be in good terms. Wolfgang (Max Riemelt) and Kala's (Tina Desai) relationship, however, could be in trouble. Wolfgang previously told her that she should marry Rajan (Purab Kohli) instead of him. After witnessing his killing spree last season, Kala might just follow his advice.

"Sense8" season 2 is expected to return spring of 2016.
