More leaks on the 2016 versions of the Samsung Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 come about, all providing morsels of details about the specifications from the batch of forthcoming metal-clad handsets coming from the South Korea-based tech giant.

The new version of the Galaxy A7 was recently certified by the Federal Communications Commission or FCC. There, it showed off its relatively new build and its power. The device's measurements (151.5 × 73.95 × 6.95mm) suggest that it will be narrower than its predecessor.

According to Phone Arena, this puts out a 5.5-inch display as what previous leaks tipped. The slightly bulkier construction is apparently due to a large battery keeping the lights on the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016), which is a hefty 3,300-mAh battery unit.

It is expected that the Galaxy A7 reboot will get an AMOLED display with a 1080 resolution. Under the hood is reportedly a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with 3 GB RAM. It will house a 13-MP primary camera and a 5-MP shooter on the front for selfies. It will have Android 5.1.1 Lollipop pre-installed.

Meanwhile, also making another appearance is the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016), Thanks to a user agent profile, it was revealed that the smartphone will wear a display with a 720p pixel resolution, which is the same as the unit that came before it.

This resolution should pan out great for a 5-inch to 5.2-inch display, which speculations have long suggested. Notably, the device also recently paid a visit to the FCC, where it was revealed to have a 2,900-mAh battery.

As for the rest of the specs of the Samsung Galaxy A5, it is being said that it will be powered by an in-house octa-core Exynos processor complemented by a 2-GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage space, enough to store snaps taken with its 13-MP rear-facing shooter and 5-MP front-facing snapper. Just like the Galaxy A7 (2016), it is expected to have Android 5.1.1 Lollipop on board.
