"Pretty Little Liars" only has three episodes left this season, which means that the truth about "A" will come out really soon.
In the upcoming episode titled "The Melody Lingers On," the Liars have a lot of things in their hands to help Hanna (Ashley Benson) get out of prison, while Alison (Sasha Pieterse) has to prove her innocence in front of the court.
ABC released the official synopsis for the episode, which reads:
"Alison's trial is about to begin and the once-confident Queen Bee is not so confident about her fate, as testimony reveals not only her lies but the lies of those close to her. Meanwhile, Spencer (Troian Bellisario), Aria (Lucy Hale), Emily (Shay Mitchell), and Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) search for information to clear the imprisoned Hanna following a string of clues that might have been left by Mona or possibly planted by 'A.'"
Can Hanna prove that she has nothing to do with Mona's (Janel Parrish) death? It would be hard to explain to the police why her late friend's clothes were discovered with her blood in it. But if Caleb's plan to spill out the whole truth about "A" will work, Hanna just might get out of prison.
Alison has to come clean about all her lies, too, as well as the lies of her friends to prove that she is not the culprit in Mona's murder. But can Ali tell the entire truth after the web of lies that she had spun over the years?
Meanwhile, the actress who portrays Hanna in the show recently revealed in an interview with Wonderland magazine that she is as clueless as everyone else about who "A" is.
"I'm so confused about the show myself," Benson shared. "Everyone's like, 'What's happening?' I'm like, 'I honestly don't know. 'We film so much, I never remember anything. I'll be filming a scene, and I'll be like, 'Wait, why are we doing this, what's happening, and who is this person?'"
"Pretty Little Liars" season 5 episode 23 airs on Tuesday, March 10, while the highly anticipated "Big Reveal" is slated to air on March 24.
