"Legend of Zelda" fans might have had their hearts broken about the news of a Netflix series inspired by the legendary franchise is no more than a fairy story. But there is another treat to gawk at and it will be courtesy of GameStop.

The retailer has put up a special sale for "Majora's Mask" 3DS XL handheld consoles . The special edition 3DS console itself was difficult to get but here's another chance no "Legend of Zelda" gamer will afford to forgo.

"We can confirm that an additional allocation of the highly sought-after Majora's Mask New 3DS XL will be available in all U.S. GameStop stores tomorrow," a representative from GameStop in Texas told GameSpot earlier this week.

"There will be an extremely limited supply and GameStop will be limiting it to only one per customer. Please contact your store for availability," GameStop advised.

The wonderful news was leaked in NeoGAF by a GameStop employee. The screengrab of a memo posted by the staff member from video game retailer indeed revealed that a limited number of the special-edition "Majora's Mask" 3DS XL will be on sale all across GameStop outlets in the U.S.

In fact, the supply will only be enough to hand four units to each outlet. For those raring to get one for themselves, better prepare for the stiff c0mpetition.

Before rushing to the nearest GameStop store, make sure to contact it first to know if there is still stock. As for the pricing, the exclusive handheld console has a price tag of $199.99.

The "Majora's Mask" 3DS XL was first announced back in January. It was also tricky to snag one and those lucky enough to purchase one know that its not-so-abundant supply means more value. Thus, some have put up the device on eBay for as much as $500.
