'NCIS' season 14 episode 22 spoilers, release date: All-new episode 'Beastmaster' returns this Tuesday

There are only three episodes left in season 14 of CBS' crime procedural drama series "NCIS." When the show returns with an all-new episode, viewers will see the team investigate the murder of a marine sergeant.

In episode 22 of "NCIS" season 14, titled "Beastmaster," "Law & Order" actress Elisabeth Rohm will portray Mounted Police Sergeant May Dawson. She will work with the task force to solve the murder that took place at Leroy Jethro Gibbs.

Elsewhere in the episode, viewers will see Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) saddled up. According to showrunner Frank Cardea, Harmon is a natural.

"Mark is a great horseman, and he actually rides in the episode," he admits.

In addition, co-showrunner George Schenck warns fans about the twist at the end of the episode. Schenck, however, kept mum about the details about the big surprise.

The final episode of "NCIS" season 14 is expected to air on May 16. The season finale, titled "Rendezvous," will take the force to Paraguay, on a search and rescue mission. In the episode, Gibbs and his team will make their way to a remote island in Paraguay to locate a Navy Seal who went missing following an unauthorized trip.

"As the team searches for the missing Navy Seal, the mission takes a drastic turn," Schenck teases.

The isolated island is overrun by a group of rebels. Perhaps the team will cross paths with them at some point, and maybe the sudden turn of events will have something to do with the gang. According to Cardea, Gibbs will have to make a life-changing decision. Again, both execs kept mum about the details about the episode.

"NCIS" season 14 is currently on a hiatus. It returns with episode 22, titled "Beastmaster," on Tuesday, May 2 at 8 p.m. EDT on CBS.

The 15th season of "NCIS" will air this fall.
