Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) will be tried for murder in the upcoming episode of the CBS series "NCIS: Los Angeles."

In "Internal Affairs," Spoilers Guide reports that the team will be aghast to learn that the reason why their colleague is in jail is due to the death of his former partner. Last episode, viewers saw Deeks being arrested by Los Angeles Police Department's (LAPD) Jacqueline Rivera (Alexandra Barreto). Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) could only look, helpless, as he was taken away in cuffs. Now that the reason of his incarceration is out, they will do everything to prove Deeks' innocence.

While the team is busy gathering evidences to debunk the charge against Deeks, his mother (Pamela Reed) will visit him in prison. Venture Capital Post reports that Kensi (Daniela Ruah) will accompany her. The episode will also reportedly show flashback from his past, which perhaps will explain why he is being connected to the recent murder of his old pal.

The website also reveals that Deeks will have a confession to make to Kensi. Will he finally say "I love you"? The pair has been hemming and hawing about their relationship for the longest time. Things started to change for the better this season when Deeks finally introduced Kensi to his mother. His admission will certainly excite the fans, even if it is uttered in the most inconvenient of settings. If Deeks ever get out of prison, will he start to become more vocal about his feelings?

Last episode, the team was involved in the investigation regarding missing girls. A number of teenagers disappeared and the authorities feared that they were recruited to join a terrorist organization. Callen (Chris O'Donnell) worked on this case with Sam (LL Cool J), as they labored to find out why the extremists were targeting young women. It was Hetty (Linda Hunt) who disclosed to Owen Granger (Miguel Ferrer) the evil plans of ISIS. Apparently, the group had been luring girls to join them and become young wives of their soldiers.

"NCIS: Los Angeles" season 7 airs Mondays at 10 p.m. EST on CBS.
