NBA trade rumors 2016: DeMarcus Cousins to find a new home with the Toronto Raptors?

DeMarcus Cousins has been the part of most NBA trade rumors this season, and the latest rumors say that this player will be traded to the Toronto Raptors in a deal with the Sacramento Kings. However, regardless of the authenticity of this rumor, most fans agree that this NBA star will leave the Kings before the new season of NBA starts.

According to Mobile & Apps, the Raptors have been trying to improve their roster to increase their chances of claiming the championship. As such, they are planning to get this 26 year-old forward in order to accomplish this goal by the end of the new season. The Rio Olympics has paved the way for Cousins's increased fame, and as such a lot of teams such as the Raptors certainly want to pursue him.

With Cousins in the Toronto Raptors, the team plans to have him work with their most talented players such as their shooting guard DeMar DeRozan and their point guard Kyle Lowry to achieve their dream team. With this, a lot of fans are expecting that this trio will be able to secure their position as a primary contender in the Eastern Conference NBA League.

Another rumor from the Gospel Herald says that the Raptors will be able to compete against the current NBA Champion Cleveland Cavaliers, despite the fact that all-star players such as LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love are in the opposing team. After all, with Cousins's strong frontcourt presence, it is expected for the Raptors to garner a substantial number of wins in the new NBA season.

Regardless, there is still no confirmation about the matter, but the Sacramento Kings is certainly looking for viable teams to trade Cousins with. This could be due to the fact that this NBA player had some problems with the current team management.
