The new episode of "Naruto Shippuden" looms over the horizon and it will be featuring Sasuke's adventures after the massive ninja conflict that served as a fitting last hurrah for Naruto's life story.

Episode 484 dubbed "Book of Sunrise: The Detonating Man" is rumored to feature Kakashi as the new Hokage of Konoha as he orders Sasuke to investigate a place called the Land of Lightning. Moreover, reports also suggest that the young Uchiha will be crossing paths with a breakaway ninja collective known as Dark Thunder. The rumor mill is also spinning that the episode will showcase Orochimaru's hideout. It's also not yet sure if Sasuke will be having a scuffle with the slithering Sannin.

Information about the forthcoming arc's succeeding episode, titled "Book of Sunrise: Colosseum," is still scarce as of late, though it's pretty much expected that it will be a continuation of what will transpire in episode 484.

Meanwhile, it was publicized previously that the upcoming saga will be inspired by the 2015 novel about Sasuke known as "Sasuke Shinden: The Book of Sunrise." The novel will also tackle the last Uchiha's revenge after his entire clan was wiped out by Itachi, his older brother.

In addition, anime fans presume that the new spin-off about Sasuke will be some sort of a miniseries that will be stretched for as long as four episodes. Nevertheless, there are also talks that the new storyline might be extended further until 2018, though this should be taken with a grain of salt.

It is also said that "Naruto Shippuden" won't be taking a bow just yet after Sasuke's story as it was noted that the anime series will also tackle story arcs of other well-loved characters of the lore.

Sasuke's story arc will premiere this Dec. 1 whilst episode 485 will be out on Dec. 8.
