Meghan Markle on Kate Middleton: 'She's been wonderful'

Disproving that there is a competition between them, newly-engaged Meghan Markle recently shared her thoughts on her sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, Prince William's wife. Prince William is the brother of Prince Harry, Markle's fiancé.

In an interview with BBC, the "Suits" actress said, "She's been wonderful," referring to the Duchess of Cambridge, who Prince Harry said was excited to meet his fiancée. Her statement has shut some naysayers who have been comparing the two since media got a wind of Prince Harry and Markle's romance last year.

Markle's gushing of her soon-to-be sister-in-law was understandable, as she had been catapulted to the massive popularity after being linked with a prince, much like Middleton who had the media at her back once they got a wind of her romance with Prince William.

Prince Harry also revealed that his family had been supportive of his decision and that his brother Prince William and his wife Middleton, who will be Markle and Prince Harry's neighbors, wanted to meet the 36-year-old actress. "The family together have been absolutely, you know, a solid support and my grandparents as well have been wonderful throughout this whole process," Prince Harry revealed.

As mentioned, some fans had been comparing Markle and Middleton. One recent example was when Middleton recently wore a black lace dress Markle also used at a public appearance in 2014. The black lace gown was by Diane von Furstenberg, which the Duchess of Cambridge first wore at the 2017 Royal Variety Performance.

Middleton had used the same gown earlier this month at a gala dinner for The Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families held at the Kensington Palace. More than fans noticing her recycled gown, they had taken note that it looked like the same gown worn by Markle in 2012, though the actress sported a navy blue, knee-length dress.
