It seems that the game "Horizon Zero Dawn" is getting a much awaited development update. The title's game developer — Guerilla Games — has released a new video which details the open world game's development. The video also reveals the details of the upcoming game's Digital Deluxe Edition.

According to the University Herald, the new video details how Guerilla Games was able to create and develop "Horizon Zero Dawn's" expansive open world. The game is going to be massive, and it will feature various environments from deserts, snowy mountains, green valleys, to woodlands, and many others.

Furthermore, the game will have a pretty dynamic day and night cycle, which certainly adds a nice touch to "Horizon Zero Dawn's" realism aspect.

The 2017 game "Horizon Zero Dawn" is set after the society of today has fallen apart, which means that the land is now dominated by dinosaurs as well as strange robotic creatures called "Machines." While humanity is not yet extinct, the number of small villages left in the world proves that it could be nearing its end.

Also, various ruins litter the landscape, giving players a glimpse at what the world was like before everything crumbled down.

Additionally, the video features game director Mathijs De Jonge who was gracious enough to give tips to players on how to start a quest that would require them to hunt down a herd of Machines in order to harvest their parts. Once this is done, they will then be rewarded with new and upgraded arrows. The quest is set in a rocky landscape that allows the player-controlled protagonist to use the existing terrain to her advantage.

Meanwhile, according to Game N Guide, "Horizon Zero Dawn" will be an exclusive game for PlayStation 4. The upcoming title will also be forward-compatible with the PS4 Pro. With this, the player can enjoy the streamlined features of the game as well as enhanced colors and more detailed environments.
