'Grimm' season 5 spoilers: Mystery of Trubel's abduction set to unfold in episode 4

Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) and Hank Griffin (Russell Hornsby) will find themselves in the middle of a highly dangerous quest in the next episode of "Grimm" season 5.

Based on the synopsis for the episode titled "Maiden Quest," Nick and Hank will be tasked to investigate a series of heinous killings after piles of dead body began to surface.

A rich and powerful mobster is allegedly behind the series of crimes, after he asked the three young men who are wooing his daughter Elena (guest star Madeline Zima) to determine who among them should marry his daughter and inherit his wealth. But can Nick and Hank solve the case before the questors get to them first?

Meanwhile, viewers of NBC's hit supernatural crime drama will learn more about Trubel's (Jacqueline Toboni) abduction in the fifth episode of "Grimm" season 5.

During the 100<sup>th episode celebration of the TV series on Nov. 10, the cast members and series co-showrunner Jim Kouf revealed them mystery behind the abduction. According to a reporty from IGN, Trubel's abduction will finally be revealed after it was revealed in episode 3 that she is the one who has been trapped in the cell since the start of the season.

According to Kouf, the reason behind Trubel's abduction will be rapidly unwrapped from episode 4 up to episode 6, and Toboni said that some of its details will be covered in this week's episode. However, she has no idea how much will be revealed in the upcoming episode.

"She has her machete, but she has a new jacket on," Toboni teased. "Something's changed, and you know something has happened in my life and I'm part of another world sort of. I've been in that world for quite some time and the audience doesn't know that, and you get to finally figure out where this new turn with where Trubel has gone."

Sasha Roiz, the actor who portrays the role of Renard in the series, also confirmed the changes that will happen in the upcoming episodes of "Grimm" season 5. According to the actor, some of the changes will set the plot of the series in a new direction.

"Grimm" season 5 airs every Friday, 8 p.m. CT, on NBC.
