"Grey's Anatomy" season 14 is about to cover a familiar issue, which is DACA. The upcoming episode 19 will see the doctors in Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital surprised by the arrival of immigration officers. It appears that one of the doctors working in the hospital is actually employed via DACA.
According to the latest synopsis for "Grey's Anatomy" season 14 episode 17, the immigration authorities will be eyeing on Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital as one of the interns in the hospital is covered by the DACA act.
As if the real-life events also apply in the television series, the particular intern working in the United States under DACA is threatened to be removed from his or her post, or worse, the intern could end up leaving the country for good.
While tackling a political issue is quite risky for a popular TV show like "Grey's Anatomy," it is still interesting to see how the ICE agents' visit will affect the atomsphere inside Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. It is known that everyone working in the hospital has formed a special bond with each other, and their friendship will surely be tested if one of them was put in a dire situation due to the DACA revocation.
Instead of causing division insde the workplace, the doctors could be united by this issue as they stand up for their co-worker.
Meanwhile, the recent episode of "Grey's Anatomy" season 14 offered a shocking moment as Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) was diagnosed with breast cancer. Although, her cancer finding was later on revealed to be a fabrication, as one of the doctors in the hospital was actually a fake oncologist.
Arizona and Owen (Kevin McKidd) tried to learn the truth behind the fake doctor's business, but the former was struck by bad news as a sonogram result showed a malignant growth in her breast. Ultimately, it was also revealed that the doctor was giving out fake sogogram results as well, and a separate sonogram cleared Arizona of any cancer traces.
