In the next episode of "Grey's Anatomy," Dr. Jo Wilson (Camilla Luddington) continues to deal with her estranged and abusive ex-husband, Paul Stadler (Matthew Morrison), who got injured in a hit-and-run accident.

The trailer and promotional photos for the upcoming installment, which is titled "Personal Jesus," were released just recently, and they show Stadler lying on a hospital bed, screaming in pain. Apparently, he got knocked down by a car which sped off, leaving him injured by the roadside. He is brought to the hospital where Wilson and her boyfriend Dr. Alex Karev (Justin Chambers) watch him get handled by the other doctors.

Wilson hated Stadler because of his abusive behavior, which could incriminate her as the culprit. Dr. Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) sees them and assumes that they have something to do with the accident, but Wilson tells her that she's innocent.

Grey advises Wilson and Karev not to talk to anybody otherwise they could get in trouble. They walk awkwardly through the hospital corridors and feel insecure by the people's judging glances. All of a sudden, they notice Stadler's fiancee Jenny (Bethany Joy Lenz) who could implicate Wilson in the accident. Grey comes to their aid and tells them that they need to have a lawyer. Wilson is distraught and needs to contain herself, but she starts to weep as Karen tries to console her.

In the last episode, Wilson talked to Jenny to warn her about Stadler's abusive behavior. The fiancee listened to Wilson, but apparently, she did not believe the former's testimony about how Stadler kicked and punched her when they were married. Wilson warned her as best as she could, but Jenny left with the abusive Stadler just the same.

"Grey's Anatomy" season 14 episode 10 will hit the airwaves on Thursday, Jan. 25, at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
