'GTA V': Rockstar still working on Heists DLC, update slated in early 2015

The highly-anticipated action-adventure video game "Grand Theft Auto V" will be within PS4 and Xbox users' reach in two weeks time, but gamers fear that the Heists DLC may still be far-off.

Rockstar has announced the DLC way back and it was rumored to be released alongside the actual title on Nov. 18 this year. Conversely, the developer has recently informed its fans that the extremely demanded DLC is underway. To everyone's frustration, no release date followed and it seems that it will take time for the team to get it all together.

"We know many of you in the GTA Online community are super excited for the debut of cooperative heists. Heists are currently in development and we are working very hard to get them as polished and as fun as they can be. Stay tuned for much more details in the New Year," Rockstar stated in its official website.

Heists will allow gamers to set up and pull off intricate, high-profile operations with their fellow GTA fans and buddies to collectively score huge sums of virtual cash.

According to Master Herald, the 1.18 update for "GTA Online" will give users the ability to create online content for Deathmatch and Race Creators Beta by using the very same tools utilized by the game designers and developers.

According to Breathecast, the Heists DLC is projected for an early 2015 launch, bearing in mind that Rockstar plans to remain gung-ho in competing with other first-rate video games sprouting here and there. Furthermore, the claim of GTA's number one tipster and YouTube user Domislive points out that the "inconsistency" stems to the timing, now that the developer has released a Halloween DLC for gamers.

Rockstar encouraged "GTA V Online" gamers to get into high Halloween spirits when it revealed its three-day fright fest action for them. From Oct. 31 up to this day, players can enjoy the special treat, which consists of in-game bonuses such as Double GTA riches and Double RP in Deathmatches.

Rockstar also took care of the costumes players can parade over the weekend by offering masks and hats and all necessary scary garbs at half the price, with huge price markdowns for orange weapon tints, orange parachute smoke and orange tire smoke. Furthermore, there are exclusive shirts on sale as well as a huge 75 percent discount on select Halloween pieces.  Finally, the developer has invited everyone to take part in the "Halloween Snapmatic Contest by submitting their most creative and creepiest photo with the tag #Trickortreat. The winning gamer will get to enjoy GTA$1 million and will have his or her snapshot featured in the game's official website.
