American comedian and game show host Drew Carey is now engaged to therapist Dr. Amie Harwick. "The Price Is Right" host is looking to be married for the first time in his life, and seems to be completely excited for his pending nuptials. The news was confirmed by Carey's representatives.

As reported by People, Carey and Dr. Harwick have decided to get married even if they have been dating for less than a year. The 59-year-old game show host's wife-to-be attended California Polytechnic University in Pomona, where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in psychology. Dr. Harwick further pursued her studies by attaining a master's degree from Pepperdine University, California, which allowed her to practice clinical psychology specializing in family and marriage therapy.

In Dr. Harwick's Instagram page, she describes herself as a "Doctor of Human Sexuality." Carey's betrothed is currently a licensed therapist who has a published book titled "The New Sex Bible for Women," which was released in 2014. The aim of the book is to raise awareness on women's sexuality. Additionally, Dr. Harwick has some experience appearing on television, most notably on "Braxton Family Values."

Carey and Dr. Harwick met back in July of 2017 at a house party. Shortly after, the two started dating, and Carey has been constantly updating his Instagram page and his other social media outlets, expressing his tremendous joy with the 36-year-old clinical therapist. In fact, shortly after Carey and Dr. Harwick got together, the game show host shared a picture of them riding in a car together, which was captioned with "The face of a lottery winner."

As previously mentioned, this will be the first time in Carey's life that he will be married. In the past, Carey was engaged to Nicole Jaracz, before they decided to call it quits back in 2012. Carey and Jaracz were engaged for five years, and never made it to the altar.

There is currently no information on when the wedding will be taking place.
