"Dragon Ball Xenoverse" fans are highly anticipating the release of its sequel, which will be featuring a bigger hub city, new characters, an improved customization system, new transport system and several more.

Larger Hub City

Gamespot was able to attend the "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" presentation and reported that a new and bigger player hub will come with the game. It is much larger than in the previous game, which makes it possible now to accommodate up to 300 players at any single time. Everybody will also be able to test their flying skills, train at school, go shopping, finish up some quest and a few more.

Saiyan Island mentioned that the new hub will be called Canton City.

New Characters

It is already known that Turles and Future Gohan will arrive with the game. Now it is speculated that Cooler, or someone that looks like him, will also be added in the game. His base form and final form were seen in a magazine scan and a screenshot.

Turles is the antagonist in the "Dragonball Z: The Tree of Might" movie, while Cooler is the brother of Frieza.

Avatar Customization System

Developer Dimples listened to the request of its fans and revamped the character customization system for the sequel. Gamers will now have more options to choose from to personalize their game character.  Also, secret places are now included in the upcoming game, and only a specific race will have access to them, like Namekians on Namek.

New Transportation System

It was also mentioned that a new transport system will arrive with the game and let players go to specific areas using a hovering machine, instead of walking.  Rumors suggest that Goku's Nimbus Cloud will be available.

Combat Changes

Last but not the least is the introduction of new combat skills, such as Ki Blast, which will now curve in the air as it tracks it target; Homing Dash, used to close the gap between opponents much faster; and Aura Burst Dash, used to quickly move out of the way of an incoming attack while homing in on an attacker.

'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2'  will be made available this year for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC via Steam.
