'Dragon Ball Super' spoilers: Ginyu resurrects and fuses with Tagoma in episode 22?

 Toei Animation

The previous episode of "Dragon Ball Super" provided an important nugget that the "Resurrection F" movie did not show. In this installment, Vegeta and Goku were transported by Whis to a place where they can unlock more power.

According to reports, this could be the explanation behind the fighters' Super Saiyan Blue form, the most powerful form they have, as seen in the said film. As per Attack of the Fanboy, this episode should be setting that up for the characters and so fans should expect Goku and Vegeta getting stronger every episode.

Another interesting bit in the previous "Dragon Ball Super" episode is the way Gohan was knocked out. In "Resurrection F," it was Frieza who gets the job of beating up the young warrior done. However, in the series, Gohan was wounded after being hit by Tagoma before Piccolo managed to save him.

The next "Dragon Ball Super" installment will see more sinister involvement of Tagoma. The episode is called "Change! Impossible Resurrection! The Name is Ginyu!!" As suggested in the title, the mercenary will be back, in a way no one will see coming.

Apparently, Ginyu will be resurrected in the form of Tagoma using body-change. The rebirth happens in the midst of Gohan's battle against the real but Frieza-trained, extra strong Tagoma. This will make Gohan doubt if he will ever be able to beat his opponent.

By himself, the elite mercenary is already unbelievably strong to catch up to. With Ginyu along with him, Gohan will have a lot going on in his hands in this "Dragon Ball Super" episode for sure. Interestingly, the synopsis teases that the fusion may not go well.

"The two boys feel Frieza's army's power and come to fight. After fusing, they're fully ready to battle, but...," the summary for the episode teased. Could this be an opportunity for Gohan to get the upper hand?

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 22 airs Dec. 6 On Fuji TV.
