'Days of Our Lives' spoilers: Episode recap - Paige and JJ's relationship collapses

Thursday on "Days of Our Lives," Marlena asks Stefano where they landed. Stefano won't tell her but says they're not at Salem Airport. He says that he blames her and John for destroying Kristen's life. Stefano calls Carson, who grabs Marlena, and Stefano tells him to take her.

Paige arrives at the Horton house and everyone yells, "Surprise!" Everyone hugs her and Paige tries to force a smile. Jenn worries about Paige's reaction and thinks that maybe having a surprise party is a mistake. JJ asks Paige what's wrong, and she tells him that this isn't the right time or place to discuss it. Abby gets the cake and tells everyone that JJ made sure that it was perfect. JJ says that nothing is too good for his girlfriend — she's actually too good for him and she inspires him to be a better person. While he's talking, Paige imagines him getting intimate with Eve, so she throws the cake. She hits JJ across the head, and Jenn holds her back. Seething with rage, Paige tells JJ that she knows about him and her mother. JJ says that Eve is lying, but Paige tells him that she overheard their conversation about their affair. JJ admits it but says that it happened only once. Paige runs away, and JJ goes after her.

Meanwhile, Marlena is dropped off at the park by Carson and he tells her that this never happened. She runs to the square and upon seeing John, she rushes over to hug him. She says she's ok and asks about Paul and the baby. John tells her about Christopher, now named Tate, and says that things with Paul aren't going well.

JJ catches up with Paige at the park and she asks him why he did it.

On Friday, Paige and JJ's relationship falls apart. Eve vows to take revenge on Jenn; Brady asks Melanie to marry him; and Kimberly has news for Theresa.

"Days of Our Lives" airs from Mondays to Fridays at 1 p.m. on NBC.
