Somebody's dying in the "Days of Our Lives"!

It has been earlier reported that actor James Scott will be leaving NBC's long running daytime soap soon, but fans are still wondering how his character EJ DiMera will end up after the actor leaves. In the new teaser released by the producers, EJ seems to die this week.

In the video promo, Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) can be seen strolling at night in one of Salem's park. Then, a gunshot is heard around the corner, and Sami suddenly shouts EJ's name.

It is speculated that Clyde Weston (James Read) should be the one responsible if EJ dies in the upcoming episodes, since he and the DiMera heir were seen constantly bickering for quite some time.

Also, other fans are speculating that EJ's brother Chad (Billy Flynn) could possibly stage his revenge after finding out that EJ had an affair with his former girlfriend Abigail Deveraux (Kate Mansi).

In addition, other spoilers reveal that Daniel Jonas (Shawn Christian) and Kristen DiMera (Eileen Davidson) will be working together to find out if Theresa Donovan (Jen Lilley) is the one responsible for John Black's (Drake Hogestyn) coma.

Longtime viewers know that Daniel and Kristen are not exactly the best of friends. There were instances when the two plotted each other's abduction. However, they both come to realize that John might be remembering that Theresa knocked him in the head. Because of that, they both want Theresa to be put behind bars for her crime.

Also, Theresa will try to do everything in her capacity to keep her secret from her fiancé Brady Black (Eric Martsolff). She does not want Brady to find out that she is responsible for his father's comatose condition. But with John's recovery from coma, how long will Theresa be able to hide the truth from Brady?

"Days of Our Lives" airs weekdays at 1 p.m. on NBC.
