Grammy nominated artist Crowder has just celebrated his first career No. 1 hit single with "Come As You Are," and the folktronica musician will be extending his Neon Steeple Tour this April to 13 more cities.

"Come As You Are" is the second song from his album Neon Steeple, and currently dominates the top spot on the Christian Adult Contemporary (AC) Indicator chart.  The song holds a Top 10 spot on the National Christian Audience chart, reaching a listenership of over seven million people.

Crowder will be attending the 57th Grammy Awards in Los Angeles next month since his song "Come As You Are" has been nominated for the Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song category. It is Crowder's first Grammy nomination, followed by more nominations for the 3rd Annual K-LOVE Fan Awards which will be held on May 31 in Nashville. "Come As You Are" was nominated for Best Worship Song and Crowder earned a Best Male Artist nomination.

"Thanks K-LOVE Radio for the 2015 K-LOVE Fan Award Nominations! Honored to be nominated next to such talented people!" he said on his Facebook page.

He will then begin his cross-country tour in February, starting with The Rock & Worship Roadshow with fellow Christian artists MercyMe, Jamie Grace, Matt Maher, Tedashii and more.

In honour of his recent success, Crowder has also decided to extend his Neon Steeple Tour to 13 additional cities, and it will kick off on April in Waco, Texas. The tour takes in Baylor University, where David Crowder Band formed over 20 years ago.

The lyrics in "Come As You Are" encourage listeners not to give up because "there's hope for the hopeless."  The music video of "Come As You Are" features the artist singing his heartfelt song with a band behind him, and can be watched below.
