'Dance Mom' news: JoJo Siwa launches activewear clothing line with Danskin in partnership with Nickelodeon

Just last month, the seventh season of the reality television show by the Lifetime network, "Dance Moms" concluded. However, this does not mean that the cast members have not been busy with their own personal lives. In fact, 14-year-old "Dance Moms" alum, Jojo Siwa has been making waves in the media with her clothing line being picked up by Nickelodeon and Danskin.

In a report by Kidscreen, Nickelodeon and Danskin had partnered up in order to forward two collections that were inspired by Siwa herself. This is a first the women's activewear creators. Danskin has been dubbed the product line as JoJo Freestyle, and the activewear product line is currently available exclusively in Danskin stores as well as in Target around the U.S. Kohl will be graced with the products on April of 2018.

According to Licensing Biz, most of Siwa and Danskin's products are composed of dance-related activewear, as well as gymnastics apparel, and numerous athletic types of clothing for young women. Given that this venture by Danskin is the first for children, it is yet another exciting venture for them, and could possibly yield prosperous sales in the future — especially since Siwa is a reliable partner on social media.

For a 14-year-old, Siwa has definitely been busy and making lucrative business decisions — capitalizing on the fame that she was able to garner on the show. In fact, Siwa was present during the Macy's Holiday Parade, as reported by ABC 7 NY. The news outlet has also recognized Siwa's social media prowess, and have stated that she has successfully curated a "social media empire" all by herself.

As of now, Siwa has been able to gain five million followers on her YouTube channel, as well as six million followers on Instagram. Siwa has already a book under her belt, titled "JoJo's Guide to The Sweet Life." It seems that there is very little that can stop this young woman from riding the wave of success that she is currently on.
