Stars of "Chicago PD" hinted that there would be a lot of drama involved in the upcoming episodes of the hit NBC series. Most of these would revolve around Olinsky (Elias Koteas), Dawson (Jon Seda), Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer), and Lindsay (Sophia Bush).

According to TV Fanatic, there will be a twist in the storyline of Olinksy and his daughter Michelle (Madison McLaughlin). Last episode, the detective was upset with Dawson for deciding on an important aspect of Michelle's life. He felt that being her father, his friend should have consulted him before doing anything that could affect her future. Dawson, for his part, believed he was just helping him out, as he has done ever since Olinsky learned that he fathered a child with someone else.

Dawson is Michelle's coach in boxing. In fact, she has spent more time with him than Olinsky, who is almost always never around. The fact that Meredith (Melissa Carlson), her stepmother, has not truly accepted her yet makes it all the more difficult for Michelle to be included in her father's world. She loves boxing and relishes the time she spends in Dawson's gym. Wil their closeness affect Olinsky and Dawson's friendship?

Meanwhile, Halstead and Lindsay's relationship will still be strained. In his August interview with TV Guide, executive producer Matt Olmstead said that the pair would eventually get back together, but viewers should not expect it to be so soon. While Halstead try his best to woo her, Lindsay still wants some time off to think things through.

Last season, Hank (Jason Beghe) threatened to fire them as work romance was prohibited in their department. It was Lindsay who took it hard, as without her job and Halstead, she became depressed. She started to use painkillers and her life spiraled downward from then on. Although Lindsay would take her time going back to Halstead, there was no doubt she would.

"We're going to wait. The immediate concern is to get her on her feet again and out of harm's way, but down the road... we're exploring that," Olmstead said.

"Chicago PD" season 3 airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. EST on NBC.
