'Avengers 2' spoilers: Andy Serkis' background role - Post-Avengers movie to be 'Planet Hulk?'

Andy Serkis reportedly has a role in "Avengers 2: Age of Ultron," but only in the background. He is said to be helping Mark Ruffalo and James Spader with their roles as Hulk and Ultron, respectively. However, there is new news that Serkis isn't just playing a consultative role, he is actually in the film too, reports Screen Crush.

Hitflix confirmed that Serkis will have an on-screen role in the movie. But when the sources were asked what role it was, all they could say was "... role is still meant to be a secret." It will surely be a surprise on the big screen if Serkis does indeed have a part.

Screen Crush also reports that Serkis' role may not be that big since he is also working on "Star Wars: Episode 7" and at the same time, promoting "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes." Perhaps, it might just be a cameo appearance.

There is also a rumored post-Avengers movie set to feature Hulk. Hitflix reports that what's good about the ending of "Avengers 2: Age of Ultron" is that it will set in motion different storylines for the heroes. The next installment of movies such as "Thor" and "Captain America" will have to be essential to the whole story, just like what the purported Hulk movie will be, which is said to be called "Planet Hulk."

On the other hand, Hitflix states that a "Planet Hulk" movie may not be possible at all, and fans will be contented in between the "Avengers 2" and "Avengers 3" movie. Why is that?

Hitflix reveals some very juicy spoilers about Bruce Banner. In the ending of "Avengers 2," Hulk will board a Quin jet headed outside Earth and won't be able to do anything about it because the jet is pre-programmed. Hitflix speculates that the Hulk might join the Guardians of the Galaxy somewhere in the galaxy and have an adventure with them. Another speculation is that the Guardians will be the one helping Hulk go home, but will end up staying on Earth.

"Avengers 2: Age of Ultron" will hit the theaters May 1, 2015.
