After initial excitement and anticipation about the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for HTC One M7 and HTC One M8, users have begun complaining about some problems after they updated their devices.

As early as March and up until the past few weeks, users of the HTC One M7 and HTC One M8 have expressed frustration over performance issues after getting the new Android 5.0 and 5.0.1 Lollipop operating systems on their smartphones.

Among the performance issues being encountered by some users is the freezing of some applications in the HTC One M8. Worse, some owners of the HTC smartphone also reported the force closing of some apps.

Some HTC One M8 owners, meanwhile, have experienced a decrease in frame rates and even a lag in the use of their smartphones after installing the Android 5.0 and 5.0.1 Lollipop updates.

Aside from all of these, owners of the HTC One M7 and HTC One M8 have also complained about decreased battery life. TechTimes even said that this is "one of the most reported problems" on these HTC devices since the Android 5.0 Lollipop update was made available.

This is despite the fact that the Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system was designed to increase user battery life on Android devices.

Users of HTC One M7 and HTC One M8 devices are pinning their hopes on the Android 5.1 Lollipop update to resolve these issues.
